Come follow along with me on this wall gallery evolution. It's far from done but definitely not where it once was.

The Inspiration (via Pinterest)

Of course, I wanted to create good vibes upon entry into my space. For a little inspiration and direction, I marched over to Pinterest to get lost in the world of wall strips and gallery art. Here are a few images that tickled my fancy:

Current Situation

Lately, home improvement has been my "z" on my list of priorities. Yup, dead last because I obsess over every detail because like, it's a HOUSE. Mistakes can be costly. Nobody has the time or the money for a re-do.

So, here's my current hallway (foyer if you're fancy) situation. I have the stripes completed and a linear gallery of some personalized wall art.

When my home was being built back in 2007, I came out to the building site literally every week to watch my baby grow. Of course, I snapped a few or 12 photos of each stage and decided to create a little birthing series of my house on my wall.

Started from the bottom (uh...foundation) now we're here.

A Few New Additions

For some reason, I've been getting a little itch to get this wall gallery together. After experiencing a friend's loft in LA, I wanted to start scratching that itch. She had all of this original art in her space which motivated me to start looking for some creative pieces of my own.

Queue up Minted. They have so much great art that it's overwhelming. It took me DAYS to decide on these four pieces. What's cool about them is they have this community of artists who create for them. When you order a piece, you the option of having it signed by the artist and they send a certificate of authenticity. It really is a personal online art buying experience.

From l. to r. c/o Minted:

They, also, have dope stationary! Another overwhelming experience. They have so many good options!

My 2016 New Year Cards :)

Next up, I started hitting local art festivals and found a guy selling different variations of this camera print and other nostalgic photos. I need to find him again because he had some prints that I wanted that I didn't get. Note to self: Buy it when you see it ESPECIALLY at an art festival.

Stay Tuned...

Yeah, so that wall gallery is far from together but there's definitely a start. Slowly but surely.

Listen, masterpieces take time!

  5. The trick turning your dreams into reality. Begin with a sensible analysis of your desires. householders sometimes take into account home enhancements for one in all the subsequent reasons.
