A couple of months ago, I had to make a really tough decision between the Cameo Collective 'It's Time' Peplum Shorts featured in this look and the Mink Pink 'Summer Time' Shadows Shorts that are linked in the "Get the Look" section.
I literally had them both side-by-side and tried to rationalize keeping both of them. They're so similar but they're not. I finally just closed my eyes, spun around the room, landed on the Cameo Collective pair and bid the Mink Pink pair adieu.
I'm pretty sure that I still need them. Things people with a shopping addiction say.
Nothing says summer time like an invitation to an all white party. The dress code is straight to the point and it should be pretty easy to execute. However, for some reason, lots of people can't get all white right.
There are a few things to note when it comes to all white ensembles:
All whites are not created equal.
Pay attention to the fabric and textures of your whites. Stay away from cheap synthetic fibers and sheer fabrics.
Please buy your size. Nothing ruins a look faster than pieces that are ill fitting.
Not all whites match each other. Whites unfortunately come in all shades. Check out how your whites look together before you commit to the look.
You do NOT have to wear white shoes. Nude, metallic or black are very good and reasonable options.
The moral of the story is simple: Invest in your whites. Care about your whites. Love on your whites.

Nothing does my spirit right like a good statement shoe. I will be the first to admit that this Sophia Webster Mila Sandal was a good mix between intriguing and intimidating. I just didn't know how it would look on the foot. Some statement shoes can be a little too much for life but that wasn't the case with this particular shoe. She turned out to be a real black-suede-caged-sandal winner.
