I have never been nor will I ever be a believer in the "wear it once" lifestyle. When I buy something, especially something a little pricey, I want to wear the wear out of it!

I want to wear it until the seams fall apart, take it to my seamstress, and wear it all over again!

Now, I ain't saying she's a gold digger 'cause she turned into a goal digger! Get down, girl, go 'head, get down...

I rap on the side. 

According to the Urban Dictionary, a goal digger is a person who desires wealth in all areas of life, who seeks the secrets of the millionaire mind and has the smarts, optimism, integrity, and passion to do it themselves. 

Hmph. Well, don't mind if I do!

When I saw this Sandro Paisley blouse, I was definitely positive that it was ugly. Like, an ugly kind of cute or a gaudy kind of fabulous.  You know what I mean? To take it even further to the next level, I paired the blouse with these gold H&M shorts that are a 70's kind of 2013. Right? Right...

So, remember how I said that I was wearing turbans all summer?

Well, that's definitely happening.

I'm in the midst of some very serious hair confusion. It is currently 1/6 natural (like 2 or so inches beyond new growth). Some days I want to color it, cut it off, braid it up, grow it out or add a little extra. All I do know is that I'm ready for a change. Coupled with the fact that it needs to be able to handle a 4 - 5 day workout schedule, I'm not exactly sure which change to make at this moment.

So, until then, I'll put a turban on it!

By golly, I've figured it out!

I'm declaring here and now that, all summer, I'm wearing turbans! It's so perfect. It's my top knot for the summer, ready at a moment's notice!

This turban here is from The MCB Shop. The best thing about it other than that it's super fabulous is that I didn't have to sit in front of my computer for seven hours watching You Tube tutorials to learn how to tie it. I just put it on!

Literally, what more can you ask for in life?!

Nothing says summertime is coming like an almost all white ensemble.

Summer not only means warmer weather and bare legs. It means a whole new influx of roof top and all white party situations. Now, you may not get the invite to the All White Diddy Bash but if you do, you want to stay ready so that you don't have to get ready!

A primarily white outfit done right can look very clean, fresh and airy. With this outfit, I have paired white and yellow together with black accessories. 

Fashion Rule!: Stick to white pieces that have structure or texture (i.e. eyelet lace, linen, silk) to keep them from looking cheap.

When I put this outfit on I immediately had two thoughts: My catholic school uniform and Cher from Clueless.

Granted my uniform consisted of a nasty plaid skirt and black and white Buster Brown shoes, this still made me feel a little nostalgic.

I am a firm believer in recycling. I'm not talking paper and plastic, folks. It's more like blazers and skirts. I, by no means, have the funds to support the wear it once life style. I wanna wear my clothes until the seams come apart!
