I have literally had the shoes in this look for almost two years without wearing them. I was all set to return them and then I gave them one last look. See, it's not unusual for me to see things at the moment of purchase that seem completely amazing yet when they arrive in the safety of my closet, they may or may not make it out to see the light of day. 

So, I squinted my eyes and tilted my head and saw them in a different light. When paired with these printed Whit shorts, nothing about me could return these beauties. So, they have finally been worn and saved from the tragedy of return.

Subject: Car Repair Shop Flow

Someone once asked me "Do you always wear heels? Can we see something with flats?".

Sure can. 

I wore this look to get my car repaired. No need for heels at the mechanics unless….never mind.

I've featured these Sperry Top-Siders before here and I still feel the same way about them. I seem to always pair them with these pants and this bag. Comfortable to the max!

Subject: Leather Midi Skirted Off to the Mall

I have approximately exactly three leather skirts in my closet and I love and need every single one of them.

I bought this one last season and it's just such a good color that can do so many things. Side note: When you're traveling with your leather, try not to roll it up in your suitcase. Leather and extreme wrinkles don't mix very well. I won't charge you for that one.

Memo 017: With the Cinch of a Waist

Subject: The Cinched Waist

Ok, as you can tell from this blog, I’m pretty ritualistic and consistent with the things that I like to do.  I WEAR top knots, I’m dedicated to spending a large portion of my paycheck with ASOS, Zara and H&M, and I like to make to-do lists and check things off (random fact but now you know). So, here’s one more to add to the list of things that I like to do and do often…

I cinch waists!

If I’m wearing a blazer, I cinch the waist

A dress? Yup, you’ve got it. I cinch the waist.

If I wake up one morning with the urge to wear a brown paper bag…I’M CINCHING THE WAIST!

A cinched waist is the ultimate accessory in achieving femininity in any outfit.

The cinch can be achieved with a belt, rope, scarf, chain…basically anything that will make it’s way around your waist. You’ve got the keys to cinching success.
