Memo 231: One Size Fits All

To: All

Subject: All For One and One For All

To know me is to know that I love a good color combination. I don't shy away from a bold print or pattern. So, when I peeped this little number from Lois London NYC, I knew that she was a severe must have. Like, a need and not a want.

To be fair, you can live life without it but why would you? A good friend of mine introduced me to the label and it was a clear "yes" from the start.

Don't you love when you think you're discovering something new only to find that most people already know about it. Apparently, the New York scene is very aware of this designer's existence. Well, it was new to me and that's all that matters.

For the styling, I let the dress live on it's own a little. I did pair it with my go-to pool lounging tribal printed straw hat from Zara and my oh-so-perfectly-matched slides from ASOS.

Did I mention that the dress is one size fits all? Ain't no sizes, bih!

Memo 230: It's in the Laser Cut Details

Lately, I've been getting a lot of requests for professional attire. Well, here's a look that's corner office approved! You'll want to add a tank underneath the laser cut top but it's pretty much good to go!

Speaking of laser cut top, this one is pretty fresh and fly-to-death. The designer, Azmara Asefa, specializes in structure and fashion architecture. Laser cutting is one of the techniques that she uses frequently in her designs.

I love love love this jacket from her collection.

This top is like looking through the window to my...stomach. With a little under breast cleavage, it's much sexier than it sounds. Trust me.

Memo 229: Spring Eye Catchers

Doesn't Spring automatically make you think about wearing floral patterns, running in a field of lavender and twirling on your haters?

Spring is definitely one of my favorite times of the year for various reasons. The weather should be showing signs of promise for those of us that have been day dreaming about warmer weather. For others, it's the nice little pleasant moment before we decide that we're not leaving the house until the sun sets.

See, I don't play around with Arizona summers. If the sun is out, I'm not. The rules are simple.

When the weather is pleasant, layers are appropriate and necessary. For this look, I have the option of just wearing the sports bra (yup, that's a sports bra) and the pants during the day and then adding the floral jacket when it gets a little cooler later in the evening. For a little extra flavor, I punctuated this look with some florescent accents.

Sometimes, you need to incorporate some pieces that catch the eye.

"Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer"

I don't know who said this but they sure were speaking nothing but the truth! I always feel better equipped and more knowledgeable after exploring foreign lands. I especially love it when we can go "off the beaten path".

Of course, everyone knows and visits Rio de Janeiro regularly but what about Bahia? Who knows to take that ass to visit Bahia?! Not nobody. Why would you know if no one ever told you to go.

Well, I'm telling you to go and go now! Seriously, Rio was cool and we re-visted and re-enacted the scenes from the Pharrell and Snoop "Beautiful" video while Milly Rocking all over the country (wait for it, there's video). I feel like I need to revisit Rio just to make sure I had a thorough enough visit but Bahia felt amazing upon arrival. Seriously, spend like two days in Rio and the remaining five, ten, or fifteen days in Bahia. Thank me later.
